Morris University Center
Morris University Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is the vibrant hub of student life, campus engagement, and community connection. Since opening in 1967, the facility has served as a gathering place for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors, hosting student organizations, conferences, dining services, leadership programs, cultural events, and university celebrations. Named in honor of former SIU President Delyte W. Morris, whose leadership helped establish SIUE, the center reflects the university’s commitment to student development and campus community. Over the decades, the Morris University Center has evolved into one of SIUE’s most active and recognizable facilities, supporting collaboration, involvement, and the overall student experience.
